Providing financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship skills, JA’s longest running program model can be taught by teachers or volunteers and is available in kit-based or digital form.

The Process:

STEP 1:

Fill out the program request form to bring JA to your students.

⇨ Include program choices (see list here), preferred materials, facilitation dates and model (volunteer or educator).
⇨ Include name and contact information for volunteer.
⇨ JA will provide volunteers for the following programs:
    • Career Speaker Series
    • Career Exploration Fairs
    • JA Field Trip Experiences (ex: JA BizTown)

STEP 2:

Receive confirmation email and invoice for curriculum fees incurred based on requested classes. Pay invoice within 15 days of receipt.

STEP 3:

Participate in facilitator training session – 30 minutes, virtual and in-person offered.

⇨ Training is only required for new facilitators.

STEP 4:

Gain access to curriculum and materials for use during program sessions.

STEP 5:

Conduct JA programming.

STEP 6:

Send completed program details to Program & Administrative Coordinator (ie: student counts, number of completed sessions, etc.)

STEP 7:

Complete post-program student and facilitator satisfaction surveys.

STEP 8:

Return left-over/unused materials.

Fees:

Fees are associated with each program and teachers are charged per class. JA offers programming in kit-based and digital formats. Some programs come with both options while others only have one option. If you aren’t sure which option is available, check out the programs list for more information.

Program fees are due up front; program material access will be granted upon payment. If payment hasn’t been made within 15 days of the invoice, materials will become available for other interested teachers.
