Welcome to the Youth Learning Lab, presented by the Mallouk Family Foundation! The Youth Learning Lab is located in Kansas City, Kansas, in the Northwood Shopping Center at the corner of 47th Avenue and Mission Road. Centrally located within the metro, we are proud to be part of a vibrant community in Wyandotte County.

When you visit the Youth Learning Lab, you’ll be inspired by the 22,000 square feet facility dedicated to our work and programs. Our Career Center, Innovation Center, and Capitol Federal Conference Room areas are designed for intentional collaboration and lightbulb moments. Your group can reserve these spaces to host your next meeting, event, training session, etc. These spaces include tables and chairs, audio/visual equipment and more. While the space is available at no charge, we ask partnering organizations to consider making a donation to cover maintenance and staffing costs.

Opened in June 2021, the Youth Learning Lab has hosted over 1,000 individuals in our first year. We’d love to say “Hello!” and welcome your team next. To learn more about reserving a space, click “Request a Reservation” below.

JA BizTown, presented by CommunityAmerica Credit Union

JA BizTown, presented by CommunityAmerica Credit Union, combines in-class learning with a field trip to a simulated Kansas City economy. Students are given a job in a JA BizTown storefront and allows them to experience managing their role, earning (and spending!) a paycheck, working as a team, voting and more. Students connect the dots between their in-school lessons and the real-world.
