We believe students construct meaning, develop competencies, and strengthen core academic skills through guided exploration of relevant cases that allow them repeated opportunity to work collaboratively and produce solutions to real-world problems.

Northeast High School (KCMO)

Northeast High School is the home to over 500 students within the Kansas City Public School district. The high school has been a part of the district for over 100 years, and has transformed throughout the years to bring in innovative programs as their student population evolved. Teachers and school leadership are excited to bring 3DE into the building as the next initiative to challenge students and position them for success within the halls of Northeast, as well as when they graduate. Every freshman will be part of the first 3DE cohort, and as this class moves through the grade levels, the 3DE program will continue to expand with this inaugural class.

Olathe East High School

Olathe East opened it’s doors in 1992 as part of the Olathe Public Schools district. They currently have over 2,000 students in the school, and have always had a focus on finding ways for students to be involved in their school through clubs, sports and the arts. With a large school, 3DE will be present as a “school within a school”, meaning that about 150 students in the freshman class will be in the inaugural cohort. The program will grow as those students enter new grade levels, and by the time they graduate there will be a 3DE cohort at each grade level within the building.
