Bring JA to your classroom! Junior Achievement’s K-12 curriculum is intentionally designed to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences at every stage of a student’s journey. Each program is selected for its proven effectiveness, engagement, and adaptability to various learning needs, while building critical skills in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurial thinking. 

Note: High school curriculum is delivered digitally, making it easy to integrate into your classroom.

Learning Experience Options

JA Be Entrepreneurial (9th-12th)

JA Be Entrepreneurial teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed by aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators. It includes 3 modules that can be implemented individually or combined together. They include Think Like an Entrepreneur, Creative Problem Solving, and Rapid Business Planning.

JA Career Success (9th-12th)

JA Career Success introduces students to the workplace. As interns, students participate in realistic work experiences in multiple departments of a fictional company, teaching soft skills and business best practices in the context of scenarios and assignments.

JA Company Program empowers high school students to fill a need or solve a problem in their community. They learn practical skills required to conceptualize, capitalize, and manage their own business venture.

JA Finance Park® Advanced (9th-12th)

JA Finance Park® Advanced helps students build a foundation on which they can make intelligent financial decisions that last a lifetime, including decisions related to income, expenses, savings, and credit. Then they put it into practice as they participate in an online simulation where they create an avatar and make real life choices.

JA Business Communications (9th-12th)

JA Business Communications focuses on communication skills necessary to succeed in business, including communicating up, down, and across organizations; talking about job performance; and writing in a business setting.

JA Business & Technology 1 introduces high school students to the basic skills necessary to succeed in business. Themes include personal skills like teamwork, innovation, decision making, and ethics.

JA Financial Literacy (9th-12th)

JA Financial Literacy equips high school students with foundational personal finance skills. These skills include how to earn and save money; manage money by being a wise consumer and creating and using a budget; manage bank accounts, investments, and credit; assess risks and use insurance; and address financial problems like identity theft and debt.

Pitch Competitions and Workshops (9th-12th)

Pitch Competitions and Workshops are designed to bridge classroom knowledge with practical experience by challenging students to develop and present innovative solutions to real-world problems. These events foster critical thinking, collaboration, and entrepreneurial skills, preparing students for success beyond the academic environment.

JA Career Exploration Fair (9-12th)

JA Career Exploration Fair is an event where participants learn about a range of career options across multiple career clusters. Volunteers share information about their businesses and/or jobs, and participants ask questions as the speakers or participants rotate from station to station. Activities and implementation design will vary based on participants’ grade level.
